The Joy of Planning

So i really haven't done much planning in the past month, but i'm starting to get on top of things.  We've picked out colors.  The date is almost set in stone.  We are working on a reception center.  And the most exciting part...I FOUND THE DRESS!!!  I found it at the first dress store i went to.  I got to take it home with me so now i have to stop myself from trying it on in the next 3 months!

Oh the beginning...

I've finally decided to join in on blogging.  Kent and I will be living in Rexburg so we decided this is the best way to keep our families updated.  I'll start from the beginning.  Kent and my brother served their missions together.  We met in November of 2008 at a mission homecoming.  I thought he was a dork.  In April he came to stay with my family.  For months it had been a joke for him to take me on a date, so we went.  The date was interesting...we went to Winger's and he was TEXTING.  He kept coming down and we continued to go on dates.  He no longer texts on dates after constant teasing from me.  We dated for 6 months after that.  We took 8 month break.  (I won't go into details on that, it would take too long)  We started dating again last June and have been ever since. On November 5th we went to Winger's again.  He joked about proposing earlier that day.  Kent is a motor mouth and he was talking more than normal.  I didn't think much of it though.  We came back to my house I opened the door to roses and candles all over the floor which is SUPER romantic for Kent.  I turned around to him and couldn't stop smiling.  Kent actually surprised me and i didn't have a chance to figure it out.  I guess he had a speech planned, but in his words "I totally forgot everything I was going to say!"  It's looking like the date is going to be March 18th...we can't wait!!!
