Overdue..

How lucky am I to have this stud?  I was going through our wedding pictures today to finally make prints for our apartment.   Our apartment is feeling a tad more "homey" after I (really Kent did it) hung some pictures of us up.  Don't get me wrong, we have plenty of things on our walls, just no pictures.  Our bedroom is also coming along too.  I am almost done making pillows then I'll have pictures.
As I was going through pictures today I came across this sweet picture of my grandparents.
My grandpa passed away in September.  This was just a reminder of the love my grandparents had for one another.  I never saw one without the other.  The day before my grandpa passed away we made a visit to the hospital.  My sweet grandma didn't let go of my grandpa's hand.  What great examples of the love a husband and wife.  I am truely grateful for the wonderful examples I have had and do have in my life.

They call me lucky...

I feel so blessed today!  I have everything anyone could ever want...great friends, wonderful family, and an incredible husband. There's nothing else I want.  For the last few days I've felt so grateful for all that I have in my life.  Every year I think how could my life get any better and it always does.  I have amazing parents and in-laws who would do anything for me.  I have siblings who are great examples to me and I look up to every single one of them.  My husband does so much for me.  I always think I don't know how I could I be more happy with someone.  He's wonderful.  He's patient.  He is so loving.  He would do absolutely anything for me.  He puts me before anything.  He loves me unconditionally.  He makes my days that much better.  No one can get me to laugh like him. (My dad comes close)  We've only been married three months and I keep thinking how can it get better than this.  It ALWAYS does!  I am so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life.  I'm truly blessed!

These people make my life perfect!

We're Married!!!

The day finally came and it went pretty quick.  Our wedding turned out well and stress free.  The day wasn't too cold, but there was a little bit of a cool breeze.  Other than that the day couldn't have been more perfect.  We've only got a few pictures of that day so far.  We were lucky enough to have two receptions, one in Utah and one in Nevada.  Both of our families were able to be at our Utah reception.  My family was able to go to Fallon to see where Kent's from.  I was grateful that both of our families got a little more time to get to know each other.  Both receptions turned out beautiful!  I couldn't be more grateful for both my mom and Kent's mom for all that they did.  Kent and I have felt so blessed for all that others have done for us.

For our honeymoon we were able to go to Las Vegas.  We had planned on going to Park City till just a few days before the wedding my dad surprised us and told us we were going to Vegas!  We flew out Saturday afternoon.  My dad told us we would be staying in Paris.  We got up to our room and it was beautiful.  We were on the 32nd floor in a suite overlooking the eiffel tower and the Belagio fountains.

We did a lot of walking on the strip and checking out shops.  I got to fullfill  my H & M kick.  We were able to go see a Cirque Du Soliel,(my favorite), Blue Man Group (Kent's favorite), and Jabb awa keez.  We even had great seats to all three shows.  We went to a steak house our last night and Kent was in heaven with his 26 oz steak smothered in crab.  We ate plenty of wings.  Kent is really getting me hooked on them.

We stayed with Kent's parents for a few days.  The day before we were leaving to Utah real life hit us when we had to get 4 new tires for Kent's truck.  We were able to stay with my parents for the last few days before our temporary apartment was available.  We're glad to finally be in Rexburg and get started in school and finding jobs.
